Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease
  • Aged 18 to 75 years
  • After bilateral subthalamic nucleus deep brain stimulation (STN-DBS) surgery, but device not yet powered on
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Mental disorders or dementia
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women, or women unable to use effective birth control
  • Serious health conditions such as tumors or liver/kidney diseases
  • Epilepsy or other seizure disorders
  • Severely misplaced electrodes
  • Unable to voluntarily sign informed consent
  • Unwilling to cooperate with follow-up
