This observational study aims to understand the real-world clinical outcomes of Deep Brain Stimulation DBS in patients with Parkinson Disease, Essential Tremor, and Dystonia. The study uses a retrospective review of de-identified patient records to gather meaningful data about these conditions and the effects of DBS treatment. It is sponsored by Boston Scientific Corporation and follows patients implanted with their DBS system. Participants include those with Parkinsons Disease, Essential Tremor, or Dystonia who have been implanted with a Boston Scientific Deep Brain Stimulation System. The study reviews outcomes across these three groups by examining their medical records to evaluate how DBS has impacted their symptoms and quality of life over time. Participants involvement consists of data collection from existing medical records without any new treatments or interventions. Researchers measure outcomes such as the mean change in the Unified Parkinsons Disease Rating Scale UPDRS III up to five years after implantation compared to baseline. The study gathers data up to December 2028 to assess long-term results and safety of DBS in these populations.
