Researchers are evaluating two home-based digital cognitive training programs for cancer survivors who experience cognitive difficulties after chemotherapy. This study aims to compare the usability and effectiveness of a computerized cognitive intervention BrainHQ and a virtual reality cognitive intervention Enhance VR as part of an early rehabilitation protocol following cancer treatment. The goal is to understand which intervention is best accepted and most effective in improving cognitive function and quality of life. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups the BrainHQ computerized training, the Enhance VR virtual reality training, or a control group receiving usual care without cognitive intervention. Both interventions involve cognitive exercises targeting attention, memory, processing speed, and other functions, conducted remotely for 10 weeks. BrainHQ sessions are about 30 minutes each, five times per week, while Enhance VR sessions are 30 minutes, four times per week. Weekly psychologist supervision will support participants during the training period. Participants are assessed before starting the intervention, after completing the 10-week program, and again one year later to examine lasting effects. Assessments include cognitive tests, quality of life questionnaires, and adherence monitoring. The study also explores patient satisfaction, usability of the interventions, and an exploratory cost analysis. Overall, this research seeks to help cancer survivors regain their cognitive abilities and improve their return to work, family, and social activities.
