  • Undergoing elective or emergent paraesophageal hernia repair
  • Symptomatic paraesophageal hernia requiring surgery

  • Previous surgery on esophagus, stomach, diaphragm, or anti-reflux procedures

Surgery and Immediate Post-operative Care

Participants undergo paraesophageal hernia repair surgery, during which hernia sac excision and crural tension are evaluated immediately following the procedure.

Participants are monitored for complications and recovery outcomes up to 30 days after surgery.
