Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age 40 to 50 years
  • Male and female participants
  • Diagnosed with moderate to severe COPD
  • Physically able to participate in Tai Chi or Benson's relaxation technique
  • Willing to participate in the study
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Pulmonary hypertension
  • Congenital heart disease including recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina, or uncontrolled hypertension
  • Spinal deformities
  • Loss of consciousness
