What this Trial Is About

Researchers are examining the effects of orthosis and exercise on patients with spondylolisthesis, a condition where one vertebra slips over another. Conservative treatments like orthotic use, activity restriction, pain control, physiotherapy, and exercise are typically preferred unless severe neurological symptoms occur or symptoms persist for 3 to 6 months. This study focuses on comparing stabilization and conventional exercise programs combined with orthosis to assess their impact on radiographic findings, pain levels, physical function, and quality of life. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups stabilization exercise, conventional exercise, or a control group with no intervention. Both exercise groups will receive soft orthosis use for 10 to 12 hours daily over 4 to 6 weeks, pain control treatments including TENS and hot packs, and supervised exercise sessions twice weekly for 10 weeks. They will also practice home exercises six days a week for 12 weeks. The stabilization exercise group will use a Stabilizer Pressure Biofeedback device and receive posture training, while the conventional exercise group will follow a traditional exercise program. The control group will not receive these treatments. Throughout the study, participants will be evaluated at baseline, week 10, and week 12 using various measures such as quality of life, balance, pain questionnaires, and disability indexes. Additional assessments include muscle testing, pelvic parameters, fear of movement scales, and monitoring of orthosis use and home exercises through weekly diaries. The study aims to provide detailed insight into how these treatments affect structural stability, pain, function, and life quality over time.
