What this Trial Is About

Researchers are evaluating the safety of using a Terahertz (THz) scanning system on people with corneal diseases. This observational study focuses on participants who have eyes that are functionally blind but still have healthy corneas. The study aims to determine if the THz scanning system is safe to use on the human cornea by monitoring eye health over time. Corneal disease is a major cause of irreversible blindness worldwide, and monitoring corneal water content is important for detecting conditions leading to vision loss.
