Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Multigenerational Latino household with 3 to 5 residents
  • At least 2 adults with BMI over 27 kg/m2 who want to lose weight
  • At least one child under 18 years old in the household
  • Owns at least one smartphone, tablet, computer, or has internet access
  • No dietary exclusions or medical conditions such as chronic kidney disease or insulin-dependent diabetes
  • Plans to remain in the area for 12 months
  • Not using medications that interfere with weight loss (e.g., steroids, certain anti-depressants, anti-seizure drugs)
  • Willing to pay for groceries
  • If on CalFresh, willing to pick up groceries at the store
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Chronic kidney disease
  • Insulin-dependent diabetes
  • Dietary exclusions inconsistent with study menus
