Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Multigenerational Latino household with 3 to 5 residents
- At least 2 adults with BMI over 27 kg/m2 who want to lose weight
- At least one child under 18 years old in the household
- Owns at least one smartphone, tablet, computer, or has internet access
- No dietary exclusions or medical conditions such as chronic kidney disease or insulin-dependent diabetes
- Plans to remain in the area for 12 months
- Not using medications that interfere with weight loss (e.g., steroids, certain anti-depressants, anti-seizure drugs)
- Willing to pay for groceries
- If on CalFresh, willing to pick up groceries at the store
You will not qualify if you...
- Chronic kidney disease
- Insulin-dependent diabetes
- Dietary exclusions inconsistent with study menus
