Registry Study Collecting Images and Videos from Endoscopic Ultrasound Procedures for Pancreatic Diseases in Adults

What this Trial Is About

Researchers are compiling an iconographic registry of images and videos collected during endoscopic ultrasound procedures used to investigate pancreatic diseases. This includes patients with inflammatory pancreatic conditions, autoimmune bilio-pancreatic diseases, neoplastic bilio-pancreatic conditions, and those at high risk for such diseases. The study collects data from around 12,000 patients, both retrospectively since 2000 and prospectively through 2027, at the IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital. The registry involves endoscopic ultrasound procedures that are part of the routine diagnostic and therapeutic care for pancreatic diseases. These procedures generate image and video data which are stored along with pathological and historical clinical information. The study does not introduce new treatments but records standard diagnostic pathways as part of clinical practice. Participants have undergone or will undergo standard examinations and endoscopic ultrasound procedures as appropriate for their condition. Data collection includes images, videos, and related clinical information over an average follow-up period of about five years. The main outcome is creating a comprehensive registry of visual diagnostic materials to support future research and clinical care in pancreatic diseases.
