This research aims to evaluate the impact of systematic psychological interventions on patients undergoing vacuum sealing drainage VSD surgery for chronic wounds. It focuses on how negative emotions like depression and anxiety, as well as quality of life and social support, affect patients physical and mental health during recovery. The study also addresses the psychological burden and financial strain associated with chronic wounds and seeks to improve wound healing through psychological care. Participants are divided into two groups one receiving routine nursing care and the other receiving additional systematic psychological interventions. The psychological intervention group undergoes preoperative and postoperative assessments using anxiety and depression scales, participates in a patient support group, receives education and counseling, and benefits from targeted psychological support for both patients and their family caregivers. Follow-up consultations continue after discharge until full recovery. Throughout the study, patient psychological states are closely monitored through self-rating anxiety and depression scales, and satisfaction with hospitalization is recorded. Data are collected before and after intervention to evaluate effects on patient emotions, compliance, and postoperative complications. The study lasts at least four weeks, with continuous tracking and support to promote better physical and mental health outcomes.
