What this Trial Is About
Researchers are studying normal weight obesity (NWO) in men to better understand the hormone profiles and related mechanisms that may cause this condition. The study aims to evaluate how different types of exercise impact body composition and heart and metabolic health in men with NWO. Participants will join one of two groups for 12 weeks: one group will follow a personalized resistance exercise training program, while the other will engage in a personalized aerobic exercise training program. Both exercise programs are progressive and designed to improve body composition and related health factors. During the study, participants will be evaluated for fat mass, lean mass, and levels of various hormones such as testosterone and growth hormone before and after the 12-week exercise interventions. Additional measures include cholesterol, glucose, muscle strength, aerobic capacity, and blood pressure. Researchers will monitor these factors at baseline and after the exercise period to assess changes and effects of the training programs.
