Patients will receive two inhalations twice daily of the fixed triple combination. Data will be collected at four visits: enrollment, one month, six months, and twelve months after starting the treatment. Researchers will observe treatment effects during routine clinical care without altering prescribed therapies unless medically necessary. Participants will attend regular outpatient visits where demographic data, medical history, asthma control tests, lung function, quality of life questionnaires, and treatment adherence will be recorded. Use of rescue medications and prescription refills may also be monitored. The main measure is the Asthma Control Test score after six months. Additional assessments include lung function, adherence, and health-related quality of life. Long-term follow-up at twelve months will evaluate exacerbation rates. The study will conclude by August 31, 2027.

Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Physician-confirmed clinical diagnosis of asthma according to GINA guidelines and treated for at least 3 years before inclusion
- Patients 18 years of age or older in ambulatory care
- Uncontrolled asthma despite use of LABA with high dose ICS or LABA with high-dose ICS plus LAMA multi-inhaler triple therapy for at least 3 months
- Eligible for Trimbow 172/5/9 cg pMDI according to product guidelines and financing protocol
- At least one exacerbation requiring systemic corticosteroids in the past 12 months
- Asthma Control Test score of 15 or less
- Baseline lung function (FEV1) less than 80%
- Inhaled asthma therapy changed to Trimbow no more than 1 week before or on the day of study inclusion
- Provided written informed consent to participate
You will not qualify if you...
- Participation in any clinical trial within 30 days prior to enrolment
- Hospitalization for asthma exacerbation within the last 4 weeks
- Presence of other respiratory conditions besides asthma or COPD that may interfere with treatment effectiveness or compliance
- Continuous use of oral corticosteroids (above 5 mg prednisolone daily or 4 mg methylprednisolone daily) or intravenous corticosteroids
- Use of continuous oxygen therapy
- Any malignant disease within the last 5 years
- Active or past tuberculosis
- Use of biologic treatments for asthma in the past 12 months
- Any exclusion criteria listed in the Trimbow 172/5/9 cg pMDI product information leaflet
