Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis
- Age between 18 and 65 years
- Willing to volunteer and participate in the study
- Age between 18 and 65 years (healthy control group)
- Willing to volunteer and participate in the study (healthy control group)
You will not qualify if you...
- Serious cardiopulmonary, neurological, neuromuscular, orthopedic, or other systemic diseases affecting physical function
- Participation in a planned exercise program in the last three months
- Cognitive impairment affecting understanding or following exercise test instructions
- Contraindications to exercise testing or training per the American Sports Medicine Association
- Diagnosed chronic or systemic diseases (healthy control group)
- Regular moderate exercise 3 days a week or 150 minutes/week (healthy control group)
- Smoking history of 10 pack-years or more (healthy control group)
- Recent pneumonia or any acute infection (healthy control group)
- Any psychiatric disorders (healthy control group)
