What this Trial Is About
Researchers are studying a mobile-based training system designed to improve the knowledge and technical skills of patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis. This study evaluates how effective the system is when used as part of retraining programs for these patients, aiming to enhance their understanding and correct procedure adherence over time. Participants are divided into two groups: one receives routine care, and the other participates in a retraining program using the mobile-based training system. The study spans from March 2025 to March 2026 and continuously monitors the impact of the training on patients' knowledge and procedure performance. Patients will be assessed immediately after recruitment, and then at 1 and 2 months after the intervention using the Peritoneal Dialysis Knowledge Scale and Procedure Checklist. Infection rates will also be tracked for 6 months after recruitment. The study includes regular evaluations to monitor effectiveness and safety throughout the trial period.
