What this Trial Is About
Researchers are studying the use of 18F-FPyCOSMBT-1 positron emission tomographycomputed tomography PETCT to diagnose primary and metastatic lesions in patients with various monoamine oxidase B MAO-B related diseases, including Parkinsons disease and related conditions. This observational study aims to assess how well this imaging method can detect these lesions and provide useful information for diagnosis. Participants receive a single intravenous injection of the diagnostic agent 18F-FPyCOSMBT-1, followed by PETCT or MRI imaging within a specified time. This imaging helps measure the maximum standard uptake value SUVmax of lesions. The study evaluates the sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive values, and overall accuracy of this diagnostic test. During the study, participants undergo imaging and related assessments to collect data on lesion uptake and diagnostic performance. Researchers measure standardized uptake values within 30 days and evaluate diagnostic efficacy. Participants provide informed consent, and their safety and data are monitored throughout the study, which runs until July 2029.
