Researchers are evaluating kidney transplant recipients to compare respiratory function, muscle oxygenation, physical abilities, muscle strength, body composition, and frailty between those with and without inspiratory muscle weakness. The study focuses on adults aged 18 to 65 who have had a kidney transplant at least six months prior and do not follow regular exercise routines. This observational study aims to better understand factors influencing health outcomes after kidney transplantation. Participants are divided into two groups: those with inspiratory muscle weakness and those without. The study does not involve treatments or drugs but observes and measures various physical and respiratory parameters. Assessments are conducted on the first day, including respiratory muscle strength, functional capacity, peripheral muscle strength, and body composition, along with lung function tests and frailty evaluation. During the study, participants will undergo tests to measure breathing muscle strength, lung function, muscle strength, and overall physical capacity. Body composition and frailty are also assessed to understand health status. The study includes voluntary participation and evaluates these outcomes at a single time point to provide insights into the effects of inspiratory muscle weakness in this population.
