Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Adequate visual and auditory acuity, with correction if necessary
  • Fluency in English to ensure complete testing
  • Age 65 years or older
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Severe hearing loss not correctable with aids
  • History of known neurological or otologic conditions
  • Current severe psychiatric disorders
  • Unstable or serious medical conditions limiting participation
  • Cognitive impairment with MoCA score less than 26
  • Current or past professional music training of 3 or more years, excluding typical educational or worship music activities
