What this Trial Is About
Researchers are evaluating the effectiveness of Neuromuscular Re-education NMR compared to conventional physical therapy for managing pain, range of motion, and disability in patients with Cervical Radiculopathy aged 30 to 50 years. This study addresses a gap in current knowledge about how structured NMR exercises targeting proprioceptive training and functional tasks may benefit symptoms compared to traditional treatments such as heatcold application and general strengthening. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either Neuromuscular Re-education or Conventional Physical Therapy. The NMR group will do postural training exercises, proprioceptive tasks, dynamic control exercises, and eye-head coordination tasks three times a week for 30 minutes per session. The conventional therapy group will receive electrotherapy like TENS and hot packs, manual therapy techniques, cervical isometric exercises, and posture education also three times a week for 50 minutes per session. Both interventions involve specific repetitions and rest periods. Throughout the 8-week study, participants will undergo assessments including measuring neck range of motion with a goniometer, pain levels using a Numeric Pain Rating Scale, and disability using the Neck Disability Index. These evaluations will monitor changes in symptoms and function. The study aims to better understand how these therapies affect pain, mobility, and disability in cervical radiculopathy over time.
