What this Trial Is About

This observational study explores how three groups involved in stroke recovery perceive advanced rehabilitation technologies. These groups include post-stroke patients, physicians specializing in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, and allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and psychologists. The research aims to understand differences in attitudes, acceptance, and intentions to use technologies like exoskeletons, social robots, wearable devices, and biofeedback systems, based on their roles and experiences. Participants complete a structured questionnaire developed by the researchers, which assesses their views on the usefulness, ease of use, and willingness to adopt these technologies. The study includes three groups post-stroke patients hospitalized or followed at the hospital, specialized physicians involved in stroke rehabilitation, and allied health professionals from various disciplines. Data collection occurs at a single time point after obtaining consent. During the study, participants will answer questions designed to measure their perceptions of advanced rehabilitation technologies. The main outcome is the differences in perception among the three groups. The study is conducted at one hospital department, and participation involves only this one-time questionnaire. Researchers will analyze responses to identify potential barriers or facilitators for technology use in clinical practice.
