Global Study on Differences in Prostate Cancer Care and Management Practices

What this Trial Is About

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men worldwide, with significant differences in outcomes and care quality influenced by factors such as geographic location, healthcare resources, and socioeconomic status. This international study aims to examine these variations by comparing prostate cancer management practices across countries with different income levels to understand if care standards are applied consistently worldwide. The study targets healthcare professionals involved in prostate cancer care, including urologists, uro-oncologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists from diverse countries. Participants will complete a 17-question online survey covering demographics, clinical practice environments, patient characteristics, diagnostic and treatment approaches, guideline adherence, and multidisciplinary care. The survey takes approximately 10 to 12 minutes to complete and is voluntary and anonymous. Participants will provide detailed information through the online survey, which does not collect personal or contact data to ensure privacy. Researchers will analyze the collected data using statistical methods to identify disparities in diagnosis, treatment, access to care, and adherence to treatment guidelines. The main measure is the characterization of global differences in prostate cancer management within one month. The study aims to inform policy changes and clinical improvements to enhance care quality for prostate cancer patients worldwide.
