Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Essential tremor diagnosis confirmed, excluding Parkinson's disease and other tremor causes
  • Poor tremor control despite available medications
  • Disqualified from or declined Deep Brain Stimulation on the side planned for radiosurgery
  • Provided consent to participate in the clinical trial
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Younger than 50 years old
  • Pregnant
  • Disease duration less than 5 years
  • Dementia, psychosis, or any condition preventing informed consent
  • Poor general health or serious other illnesses
  • Structural brain changes in basal ganglia or major brain atrophy
  • Previous brain radiotherapy affecting treatment area
  • Medical reasons preventing magnetic resonance imaging
