Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Essential tremor diagnosis confirmed, excluding Parkinson's disease and other tremor causes
- Poor tremor control despite available medications
- Disqualified from or declined Deep Brain Stimulation on the side planned for radiosurgery
- Provided consent to participate in the clinical trial
You will not qualify if you...
- Younger than 50 years old
- Pregnant
- Disease duration less than 5 years
- Dementia, psychosis, or any condition preventing informed consent
- Poor general health or serious other illnesses
- Structural brain changes in basal ganglia or major brain atrophy
- Previous brain radiotherapy affecting treatment area
- Medical reasons preventing magnetic resonance imaging
