Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Histologically confirmed cancer with at least one metastatic lesion referred for palliative radiotherapy
- Pathogenic mutation in ATM gene (somatic or germline)
- ECOG performance status of 0 to 2
- Age 18 years or older
- Able to give informed consent
- Patients who can have children must agree to use effective contraception during radiation treatment
- Expected life expectancy of at least 6 months
You will not qualify if you...
- Previous radiotherapy to the treatment site that prevents safe treatment planning
- Serious medical conditions that make radiotherapy unsafe
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Lesions in areas where reduced radiation is unsafe, including brain disease, spinal cord compression, or areas where re-irradiation is not possible due to spinal cord overlap
