Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participants must be of Han race
- Diagnosis of oral squamous cell carcinoma confirmed by pathology
- Tumor located in the front two-thirds of the tongue, buccal mucosa, gingiva, mouth floor, or hard palate mucosa
- Primary tumor size no larger than 4 cm
- No cervical lymph node metastases or distant metastases detected by clinical examination and MRI
- Patients and their families agree to participate in the study
- Patients do not have cognitive disorders
You will not qualify if you...
- Not meeting the inclusion criteria
- Primary tumor larger than 4 cm or invading adjacent tissues
- Failure to attend scheduled follow-up visits
- Receiving treatments other than surgery for the cancer
- Experiencing serious adverse events after surgery
- Voluntary withdrawal from the study
- Withdrawal from the study due to physical condition
