Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 30 to 90 years
- Own a smartphone
- Office systolic blood pressure of 140 mm Hg or higher
- Currently taking two or fewer antihypertensive medications
- Able to add or increase dose of at least two classes of blood pressure medications including ACE inhibitors/ARBs, diuretics, calcium channel blockers, beta-blockers, or mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists
- Speak English or Spanish
You will not qualify if you...
- Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (less than 40%)
- End-stage renal disease with GFR less than 15
- Receiving renal replacement therapy
- Pregnant
- Myocardial infarction or stroke within the past 6 months
- Hospitalization for hypertensive emergency or malignant hypertension within the past 6 months
- Prior solid organ transplantation
- Determined unsuitable by clinical investigators
- Enrolled in another clinical study
