TRIMPACT: Real-World Study of Atezolizumab Monotherapy as First-Line Treatment for Stage IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer with PD-L1 ≥50% and No Targetable Mutations

Researchers are conducting a prospective, multicenter observational study to assess the clinical outcomes of first-line atezolizumab monotherapy in patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have PD-L1 tumor cell expression of 50% or higher and no targetable mutations. The goal is to understand how atezolizumab performs in routine clinical practice in Türkiye, focusing on survival, treatment response, and safety. The study involves patients receiving atezolizumab as their first-line treatment for advanced NSCLC, with no study-mandated interventions or procedures. Treatments and follow-ups are carried out according to local standards of care at each center. Data is collected from routine medical records, including imaging, laboratory results, performance status, treatment exposure, and safety monitoring, reflecting real-world treatment patterns. Participants will be observed prospectively, with data collected up to 24 months for key outcomes such as overall survival, progression-free survival, response rates, and adverse events. The study monitors clinical outcomes without altering patient care, aiming to capture real-life practice variations and safety trends over time. Approximately 150 patients are expected to be enrolled for sufficient precision in evaluating long-term outcomes.
