This research aims to understand how medical professionals recognize and manage urinary tract dilation in fetuses and children. It focuses on predicting how severe the condition might become after birth and whether surgical treatment might be needed. The study also seeks to develop a coordinated care model for this condition that can be used by different healthcare specialists to improve patient outcomes. Participants include fetuses diagnosed with urinary tract dilation during pregnancy, divided into groups based on the severity of the dilation. These groups are monitored with ultrasound examinations during the second and third trimesters. After birth, children with persistent dilation are followed by a pediatric nephrologist, with care tailored according to the severity and risk of surgical intervention. Throughout the study, participants will undergo ultrasound scans at the 20th and 32nd weeks of pregnancy, shortly after birth, and at six months of age. Researchers will assess the condition's progression and need for surgery using established classification criteria. The study monitors participants to better predict outcomes and optimize prenatal and postnatal care, lasting from pregnancy through the first six months after birth.

Duration - From around 20 weeks to 32 weeks of pregnancy
Participants undergo prenatal ultrasound examinations in the second and third trimesters to assess urinary tract dilation and are classified into risk groups based on severity.
2 ultrasound visits during pregnancy
Duration - From birth up to 6 months of child's life
Participants are monitored postnatally by a pediatric nephrologist to track urinary tract dilation progression and need for surgical intervention.
Multiple visits over 6 months after birth
