What this Trial Is About
Researchers are evaluating a new remote, video-based pelvic floor muscle therapy (PFMT) designed for patients with pelvic floor disorders such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and anorectal dysfunction. This feasibility pilot trial aims to assess how accessible and practical this video-based PFMT program is for patients, as well as whether it can improve symptoms and quality of life. Participants will first complete a brief survey and have one in-person session with a pelvic floor therapist before starting an 8-week self-directed PFMT course delivered through a web-accessible video platform. After finishing the course, participants will attend a final in-person session with the therapist and complete follow-up surveys. During the study, participants will complete surveys at the start and end of the program, including assessments of usability, symptom severity, and quality of life. Pelvic floor therapists will evaluate exercise performance at baseline and after 8 weeks. Safety will be monitored throughout. The total participation involves initial survey and session, 8 weeks of video therapy, and a final session with surveys.
