Researchers are evaluating the effects of adding video game-based balance exercises to standard treatment in children aged 5 to 12 years with lower urinary tract dysfunction (LUTD). This single-center study aims to observe changes in clinical symptoms and pelvic floor muscle function through this combined approach. The study includes 30 children who will be randomly assigned to either an experimental group receiving both video game-based exercises and standard treatment or a control group receiving only standard treatment. Children in the experimental group will participate in video game-based balance exercises twice a week for 8 weeks using the Wii console, Wii Fit Plus game disc, and Wii Balance Board. Each session includes a 5-minute warm-up, 20 minutes of balance exercises, and a 5-minute cool-down, with games like Hula Hoop Plus and Penguin Slide played for approximately 5 minutes each. All participants receive a standard program consisting of urotherapy education, diaphragmatic breathing exercises, biofeedback-assisted pelvic floor muscle training, and functional exercises aimed at core stability and pelvic mobility. Throughout the study, researchers will collect data using a Patient Follow-Up Form and assess bladder function with a 2-day bladder diary, uroflowmetry, and ultrasonography for post-void residual urine. Pelvic floor muscle activity will be measured by EMG, and symptom severity assessed by the Dysfunctional Voiding and Incontinence Symptoms Score Questionnaire. Quality of life, balance, core endurance, and exercise enjoyment will also be evaluated at the start and end of the 8-week period to monitor changes and treatment effects.

Participants receive standard urotherapy training and pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation. The experimental group performs additional video game-based balance exercises twice a week for 8 weeks, while the control group follows the standard pelvic floor rehabilitation program without video games.

Duration - 1 day at end of 8th week
Participants are assessed at the end of the treatment period to evaluate clinical symptoms, pelvic floor muscle function, bladder function, balance, core stability, and quality of life.
