Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of Parkinson's disease
- Hoehn and Yahr stages II-III
- Age between 45 and 75 years
- Able to ride a stationary upright bicycle
- Able to sign informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Recent history of severe heart disease, severe lung disease, uncontrolled diabetes, traumatic brain injury, or neurological disorder other than Parkinson Disease
- Unable to follow directions or sign consent form
- Inadequate vision or hearing to see or hear a television
- Unstable medical condition or musculoskeletal disorder impairing ability to ride a bicycle
- Any other medical condition preventing bicycling
- Moderate depression
