Effect of Productivity Training on Job Stress and Productivity Attitudes Among Nurses A Randomized Controlled Study by Istanbul Arel University

What this Trial Is About

This research evaluates how a structured productivity training program affects nurses' perceptions of job stress and their attitudes toward productivity. It is designed as a randomized controlled experimental study with measurements taken before the training, immediately after a three-week program, and three months later. The goal is to see if nurses who undergo the training report less job stress and more positive productivity attitudes than those who do not receive the training. The intervention involves a three-week productivity training program totaling 20 hours, including both theoretical and practical interactive sessions. Topics covered include understanding productivity in nursing, time and stress management, teamwork and process improvement, leadership, coping with job stress, psychological resilience, and the use of digital tools for efficiency. The methods used are lectures, simulations, case analyses, group discussions, exercises, and brainstorming to enhance nurses' skills related to productivity. Participants will complete assessments using a Personal Information Form, the Nurses' Attitudes Toward Productivity Scale, and the Perceived Job Stress Scale at baseline, immediately after training, and three months post-training. The study measures changes in nurses' attitudes and stress levels over this time. No additional interventions are given to the control group during the study period.
