This observational study does not involve treatment interventions but follows patients through their surgical and recovery periods. Throughout the study, patients kidney function will be monitored using blood tests and Doppler ultrasound imaging. Researchers will evaluate the correlation between preoperative HbA1c, RRI values, and postoperative kidney injury stages. Additional outcomes include length of stay in intensive care and the hospital. Participants will be observed up to three months post-surgery to assess these outcomes and gather comprehensive data on kidney health and recovery.

You may qualify if you...
- Patients undergoing isolated elective CABG surgery
- Patients with available preoperative and postoperative Doppler RRI measurements
- Patients with available HbA1c data
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with chronic kidney disease
- Emergency surgeries
- Redo/revision surgeries
- Patients undergoing concomitant valve surgery
- Presence of acute infection or sepsis
- Advanced heart failure (EF <30%)
- Requirement for intra-aortic balloon pump, pacemaker, or mechanical circulatory support
- History of nephrectomy or single kidney
- Preoperative serum creatinine >2.0 mg/dL
- Pregnancy
- Refusal to participate in the study
