Researchers are studying how brain health assessment and training tools, delivered through the online BrainHealth Platform, along with in-person educational workshops, can promote healthier brain function across cognitive, social, emotional, and lifestyle areas on college campuses. This one-year pilot focuses on students, faculty, and staff at local colleges to explore the feasibility and effects of these interventions, aiming to inform future, broader studies at other universities. Participants receive training and education through both online and in-person methods. Online components include cognitive tests and surveys at three points over nine months, micro-learning video modules on memory strategies, stress management, sleep, and lifestyle habits, plus virtual group and one-on-one coaching sessions. Participants can also link wearable device data. In-person or hybrid workshops cover topics like stress management, resilience, and creating brain-healthy environments, especially for faculty and staff supporting students. During the study, participants complete the BrainHealth Index assessments at baseline, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months to measure brain function. They also fill out surveys about their real-life responsibilities at these timepoints. The study tracks participant engagement with training modules, coaching, and workshops to understand how these activities impact brain health over one year. The study welcomes adults with internet access who can read and hear content in English, including students and staff from the participating colleges.
