The study involves 93 participants randomly assigned to three different treatment groups to understand the impact on pain, movement fear, and disability. Participants will be divided into three groups. Group A will receive VR and MI combined with routine physical therapy, Group B will receive VR with routine physical therapy, and Group C will receive MI with routine physical therapy. All treatments are given three times a week for six weeks, totaling 18 sessions, each lasting 40 minutes. During the study, pain levels will be measured using the Numeric Pain Rating Scale, fear of movement will be assessed with the Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia, and disability will be evaluated by the Neck Disability Index. Data will be collected at the start, at three weeks, and after six weeks of treatment. Statistical analysis will investigate differences within and between groups to understand treatment effects.

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age of the patients should be 18-50 years
  • Both females and males are included
  • Patient should have a consistent pain for 3 months or more
  • Patient having non-specific neck pain
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Specific neck pain caused by metastasis, neoplasia, infectious or inflammatory disorders, bone fractures or traumatic precedents with neck injuries
  • Positive neurological signs or evidence of spinal compression such as abnormal diffuse sensitivity, hyperreflexia, or diffuse weakness
  • Cervical osteoarthritis
  • Spondylarthritis
  • Neck pain associated with vertigo (vestibular involvement)
  • Neck pain associated with whiplash injuries
  • Previous cervical surgeries
  • Headaches before the onset of neck pain and without cervical origin
  • Inability to provide informed consent
