What this Trial Is About
The study aims at pooling a large population of patients with suspected coronary artery disease (CAD) who underwent Computed Tomography Coronary Angiography (CTCA) and who were adequately stratified in the first place. Then the investigators will be able to assess the incremental value of CTCA in the stratification of prevalence of disease (non obstructive/obstructive) and prognosis of patients with suspected CAD). The added information to current evidence is how reliable and to what extent CTCA can define the actual burden of disease and cardiovascular risk.

Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients must have a calcium score measurement
- CT scan performed with 64-slice technology or 16-slice CT with more than 4 years follow-up
- At least 100 patients with complete clinical files and follow-up data required
- Minimum follow-up period of 12 months
- Patients with suspected coronary artery disease only
You will not qualify if you...
- Renal failure with creatinine clearance below 60 ml/min
- Known previous allergic reaction to iodinated contrast medium
- Pregnancy
- History of myocardial infarction
- Previous coronary revascularization procedures (PCI and/or CABG)
