Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren's syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, mixed connective tissue disease, or psoriatic arthritis confirmed by a healthcare provider
- Age 18 years or older at the time of consent
- Fluent in English for speaking and reading
- Ability to read and understand informed consent and communicate with study staff
- Access to high-speed internet and audio/video streaming device
- Willingness to participate in an online health course and complete surveys over 6 months
- Normal cognitive function as measured by Short Portable Mental Status Questionnaire with up to 2 errors (adjusted for education level)
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to provide informed consent or participate in a consent call during business hours
- Participation in another research study with active interventions (treatments, medications, diet, exercise)
- Currently following a modified Paleolithic, low-fat nutrient-dense vegetarian, or Mediterranean diet with 75% or greater compliance
- Any diagnosis or condition preventing safe participation in gentle exercise, such as poorly controlled heart, kidney, or liver disease in the past 12 months, or severe psychiatric illness like schizophrenia making study adherence difficult
