Researchers are evaluating decision fatigue and its connection to emotional exhaustion among anesthesiologists working in clinical settings in Turkey. The study aims to understand how cognitive load affects burnout by examining the relationship between decision fatigue levels and emotional exhaustion. It will also explore how demographic and professional factors relate to these outcomes. Participants will complete an online survey that collects demographic information and includes the Decision Fatigue Scale (DFS) and the Emotional Exhaustion subscale of the Maslach Burnout Inventory. This survey is the main method for assessing the participants' experiences. The data will be collected anonymously to protect privacy. During the study, researchers will analyze survey responses to measure decision fatigue scores and emotional exhaustion levels. They will look for patterns and correlations to identify factors that contribute to burnout. The primary outcome measured is the Decision Fatigue Score using the DFS, which takes about three minutes to complete. The study is observational, with no treatments involved, and participation involves completing the online survey fully.
