Study of Different Doses of High-Power Laser Therapy for Adults With Moderate to Severe Nonspecific Neck Pain

Neck pain without a specific known cause is a common problem affecting many adults worldwide, often causing discomfort and limiting daily activities. This condition is a leading cause of disability and impacts quality of life, work productivity, and healthcare costs. The trial investigates how different doses of high-power laser therapy combined with physiotherapy affect patients with nonspecific cervical pain. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either a lower dose or a higher dose of high intensity laser therapy during each session, both combined with a conventional physiotherapy program. The lower dose group receives 840 joules per session, while the higher dose group receives 2632 joules. This treatment is delivered in multiple sessions to assess the impact of dose variations. During the 4-week study period, researchers will assess participants pain levels using a visual scale and measure cervical range of motion to evaluate functional mobility. Participants must avoid any other medications or treatments for neck pain during the study. Safety and treatment effects will be monitored throughout, with the total participation lasting at least four weeks from treatment start.
