What this Trial Is About
Badminton is a highly demanding sport that requires speed, agility, flexibility, endurance, strength, and strong mental focus. This research aims to study how a specific physical readiness training program affects key performance abilities like speed, power, and dynamic balance in young male badminton players. The study recognizes endurance as crucial for skill development and injury prevention in this population. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: an experimental group receiving physical readiness training or a control group continuing their usual warm-up exercises. The physical readiness training includes exercises such as Bend and Reach, Rear Lunge, High Jumper, Rower, Squat Bender, Windmill, Forward Lunge, Prone Row, Bent-Leg Body Twist, and Push-Ups, performed 5 repetitions each. These exercises are done three times per week over four weeks, while the control group maintains their regular routine. During the study, participants will be assessed using shuttle run, vertical jump, and star excursion balance tests at the end of the four-week period. These tests measure speed, power, and balance, respectively. The research team will analyze the results to compare the two groups and determine the significance of any differences. The entire study takes place over four weeks with ongoing monitoring of the participants' performance.
