What this Trial Is About

This research evaluates the clinical effectiveness of Glycyrrhizin as an intracanal medication compared to commonly used treatments calcium hydroxide and Ledermix in disinfecting root canals and reducing inflammatory cytokines in teeth affected by apical periodontitis. The study focuses on how these medications impact bacteria levels and inflammatory markers such as IL-1b2, TNF-b1, and PGE2, which play key roles in tissue damage and disease progression in infected root canals.
