Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Individuals aged 18 to 70 years, male or female
- Pain intensity between 3 and 7 on the pain numerical rating scale
- Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) score of 10% or higher
- Diagnosed with lower back pain due to qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome by a Traditional Medicine Doctor, showing symptoms such as stabbing, fixed lower back pain, worse at night, stiffness in lumbar region, difficulty bending or rotating, dark purple tongue possibly with blood stasis spots, and wiry or tight pulse
You will not qualify if you...
- Prior cupping therapy performed on any body segment
- Neurological, vestibular, visual, or auditory deficits preventing assessments
- Currently pregnant
- Severe spinal diseases such as fractures, tumors, or inflammatory conditions
- Previous spinal surgery
- Radiating or sacroiliac back pain or other rheumatic diseases like fibromyalgia or ankylosing spondylitis
