What this Trial Is About

Researchers are evaluating the effect of adding the Feldenkrais method to a corrective exercise program for people with forward head posture. This study aims to see how this combined approach influences cervical joint position sense, muscle strength, joint range of motion, and posture. The Feldenkrais method focuses on increasing body awareness and movement quality, which may help sustain postural improvements more effectively than corrective exercises alone. The study involves two groups: Group A will receive a combined program of posture-focused Feldenkrais movements and stretching/strengthening exercises for postural muscles, delivered twice weekly for 8 weeks in 16 supervised 45-minute sessions. Group B will receive a corrective exercise program combined with breathing exercises, also twice weekly for 8 weeks with 16 supervised 45-minute sessions. Both programs are led by a physiotherapist. Participants will be assessed at 8 weeks on cervical joint position sense, muscle strength, range of motion, and posture. Additional measures include neck disability, pain levels, and overall change ratings. The study uses double masking and randomized allocation to groups. Participation involves attending supervised exercise sessions twice a week over 8 weeks, with progress and safety monitored throughout.
