What this Trial Is About

This research aims to evaluate bowel motility, pain levels, and psychological well-being in women after cesarean delivery. The study focuses on the post-cesarean period where early mobilization and caffeine consumption are studied to understand their effects on recovery. Women who have had cesarean sections under spinal anesthesia with pain levels of 4 or higher are included to better assess these outcomes. Participants are assigned to either an intervention group or a control group. The intervention group will be mobilized at 4 hours after surgery and will consume Turkish coffee containing caffeine every six hours. The control group will receive routine care, being mobilized at 6 hours and given decaffeinated Turkish coffee at the same intervals. The study uses a randomized, triple-blind design to compare these two approaches. During the 24 hours following surgery, women will be monitored for changes in pain, bowel motility, and psychological well-being at 6, 12, 18, and 24-hour timepoints. Assessments include measuring pain levels, bowel function, and mental health status. The study also tracks adherence to the coffee consumption schedule and mobilization timing. This monitoring will help determine how early activity and caffeine influence recovery after cesarean delivery.
