What this Trial Is About

Researchers are studying the effects of oral collagen drinks on improving human skin condition. This trial involves healthy adults aged 18 to 60 years and aims to evaluate how two types of collagen drinks impact skin beauty. The study will assess changes in skin properties such as collagen fiber intensity and elasticity over time. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: daily intake of 5 g collagen powder, 15 mL MAXI collagen liquid (equivalent to 5 g collagen), or 30 mL MAXI collagen liquid (equivalent to 10 g collagen) for four consecutive weeks. This double-blind study ensures neither participants nor researchers know which treatment is given. The trial spans four weeks of daily consumption. During the study, skin measurements and self-assessment questionnaires will be completed at the start, after one week, and after four weeks. Researchers will monitor changes in collagen fiber fluorescence, skin elasticity, firmness, thickness, roughness, wrinkle volume and depth, pore counts and volume, skin hydration, and water loss. Participants will be observed for safety throughout the trial ending in June 2026.
