Childhood obesity can negatively affect balance, postural control, and motor skills, limiting physical activity in children. This research compares technology-assisted Progressive Neuromuscular Stabilization PNS exercises with traditional aerobic exercise to assess their effects on body composition, balance, and functional abilities in children aged 12 to 18 with obesity. The trial aims to find better ways to improve physical health and exercise adherence in this population. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups PNS exercise, aerobic exercise, or a control group. Both exercise groups will attend supervised sessions twice weekly for 12 weeks, with additional home-based exercises guided by the BeCure4 mobile app providing weekly updated exercise videos. The PNS group focuses on core stability, balance, and neuromuscular coordination, while the aerobic group engages in age-appropriate cardiovascular activities. The control group receives a single counseling session on healthy lifestyle habits. Participants will be assessed at the start and after the 12-week program. Evaluations include balance and postural control using the Biodex Balance System, body composition measures like BMI and body fat percentage, core muscle endurance tests, functional performance tests such as the 6-Minute Walk Test, and questionnaires on physical activity, self-perception, quality of life, fatigue, and posture. Exercise adherence will be monitored through the mobile app, and the study is conducted under the sponsorship of Istanbul University - Cerrahpasa.

Duration - 2 to 4 weeks
Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial.
Duration - 12 weeks
Participants attend supervised exercise sessions twice weekly for 12 weeks and perform home-based exercises using a mobile app. The exercises focus on either Progressive Neuromuscular Stabilization or aerobic activities, depending on group assignment. The control group receives a single counseling session.
Twice-weekly supervised sessions plus home exercises on other weekdays
Duration - At baseline and post-intervention
Participants undergo evaluations before and after the 12-week exercise program, including balance tests, body composition measurements, muscle endurance tests, functional performance assessments, and questionnaires on activity, self-perception, quality of life, fatigue, and posture.
