This observational study focuses on adults undergoing laparoscopic nephrectomy to compare the effects of two pain control techniques used after surgery the Erector Spinae Plane ESP block and the External Oblique Rectus Abdominis EXORA block. Both methods are routinely used by anesthesia clinicians at the hospital to help manage postoperative pain. The study aims to find out whether these two blocks differ in how well they control pain, affect recovery quality, and reduce the need for extra pain medications. Participants will have either an ESP block or an EXORA block administered during surgery according to the anesthesiologists usual clinical preference, without researcher influence. The blocks are performed under general anesthesia before extubation using ultrasound guidance and a specific injection of bupivacaine. All other care, including anesthesia and postoperative pain management with intravenous paracetamol and rescue analgesia with tramadol if needed, follows routine hospital protocols. Throughout the study, participants will complete a recovery quality questionnaire before surgery and 24 hours afterward. Pain levels, use of additional pain medication, nausea, vomiting, and other routine postoperative measures will be recorded during the first 24 hours after surgery. The hospitals pain management team will monitor patients postoperatively, and all follow-up care continues as usual. The main outcome measured is pain scores at several points up to 24 hours post-surgery, with secondary measures including rescue analgesic use and recovery quality.
