Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults aged 18 years or older
- Presence of typical diabetes symptoms such as frequent urination, excessive thirst, increased hunger, or unexplained weight loss
- Confirmed diabetes diagnosis by laboratory tests: fasting venous plasma glucose ≥ 7.0 mmol/L, or random plasma glucose ≥ 11.1 mmol/L, or glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) ≥ 6.5%
- Alternatively, meeting oral glucose tolerance test criteria: fasting plasma glucose ≥ 7.0 mmol/L and 2-hour plasma glucose ≥ 11.1 mmol/L after a 75g glucose load
