  • Patients aged 18-80 years
  • Patients undergoing allogenic or autologous stem cell transplant for malignant hematological conditions or bone marrow failure
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

History of severe allergic reactions to study medication Currently pregnant or breastfeeding Recent participation in another clinical trial within the last 30 days Presence of uncontrolled medical conditions that could affect safety

Diagnostic Evaluation

Participants provide stool samples at multiple time points during their stem cell transplant process to assess intestinal microbiota changes.

5 visits: preconditioning, day 0 (stem cell infusion), day 7-10 post transplant, first or second day of BMT outpatient clinic visit, and if they develop ≥ grade I GVHD

Long-term Monitoring

Duration - Up to 6 months post stem cell transplant

Participants provide stool samples at the time of recovery from graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) to monitor intestinal microbiota changes during recovery.
