Researchers are studying how language differences affect fertility treatment progress among Spanish-speaking patients. This study aims to find out if seeing a Spanish-speaking doctor leads to faster completion of necessary tests and starting treatments compared to using an interpreter with an English-speaking provider. The study is important because Spanish is the most common non-English language in the U.S., and it explores how language matching might improve fertility care outcomes. The study will take place over 12 months at a fertility center and will include 70 Spanish-speaking patients. Half will be randomly assigned to see English-speaking providers using interpreters, while the other half will see a Spanish-speaking provider. The medical tests and treatments will remain the same for all participants. Participants will also complete surveys about their satisfaction and communication experience in their preferred language. Participants will be followed for 90 days after their first visit to see how quickly they complete diagnostic tests and begin treatment. Researchers will collect survey responses to evaluate patient satisfaction and communication effectiveness. The study's main goal is to compare the timing of test completion and treatment start between the two groups. All procedures and treatments are monitored under standard clinical care during this period.
