Researchers will assess outcomes such as disease incidence and mortality up to 100 weeks, treatment efficacy at 90 days, and kidney disease progression up to 500 weeks. The registry also monitors outbreaks and complications. The study does not involve investigational treatments but focuses on data collection and analysis to improve understanding of leptospirosis worldwide.

You may qualify if you...

  • Cultural, serological, molecular or histological evidence of invasive leptospirosis disease
  • Clinical signs of disseminated leptospirosis disease without laboratory evidence
  • Control participants matched by demographics, underlying diseases, and hospitalization duration at the same hospitals as cases
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Colonization or other non-invasive leptospirosis infection
  • Laboratory evidence of leptospirosis without dissemination
