Researchers are evaluating asthma control, health-related quality of life (HRQL), lung function, and asthma medication use in patients with severe eosinophilic asthma treated with benralizumab in a real-life clinical setting in Germany. This prospective, non-interventional, single-arm, multicenter study aims to observe these outcomes over a 52-week period to better understand benralizumab's impact outside of randomized clinical trials. Patients prescribed benralizumab according to label and local reimbursement criteria will be followed for up to 52 weeks. The study will monitor asthma control using the Asthma Control Test (ACT) and the Asthma Impairment and Risk Questionnaire (AIRQ®) at various timepoints. Health-related quality of life will be assessed with the mini Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire (miniAQLQ) at baseline and routine follow-up visits. Patients will also track and report their weekly asthma medication intake using either paper-based or electronic diaries throughout the study. Participants will complete questionnaires every 4 weeks and record medication intake weekly. Researchers will measure changes in ACT scores, proportions of responders, and reductions in inhaled corticosteroid doses from baseline to weeks 12, 24, and 52. Safety and health outcomes will be observed under routine clinical care. This study includes adults aged 18 to 120 years with severe eosinophilic asthma who can understand study instructions and provide informed consent.

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and tolerability of two doses of remibrutinib compared to placebo in people aged 12 years and older with moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa, a chronic skin condition. The study is a phase 3 clinical trial involving participants with a diagnosis lasting at least six months and active symptoms in multiple body areas. The purpose is to determine how well remibrutinib works and how safe and tolerable it is for this condition. The trial lasts a total of 76 weeks and includes several parts: a screening period of up to 4 weeks, a first treatment period of 16 weeks where participants receive either remibrutinib Dose A, Dose B, or placebo in a double-blind manner, followed by a second treatment period lasting 52 weeks during which all participants receive remibrutinib doses. After treatment, there is a 4-week safety follow-up without treatment. Participants stopping treatment early are encouraged to continue in the study and complete the safety follow-up. During the study, participants will be regularly monitored for their response to treatment, including the proportion who achieve a clinical response measure called HiSCR50 at Week 16. Assessments will include physical exams and safety checks throughout the treatment periods and follow-up. The study seeks to gather detailed information on how remibrutinib affects the severity of hidradenitis suppurativa and participants' overall health during and after treatment.

Researchers are evaluating the effect of a triple therapy inhaler called BGF MDI containing budesonide, glycopyrronium, and formoterol fumarate compared with a dual therapy inhaler called GFF MDI containing glycopyrronium and formoterol fumarate in people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) who have a higher risk of heart and lung problems. This Phase III randomized, double-blind, parallel group study takes place at multiple centers and focuses on cardiopulmonary outcomes in these patients. Participants receive either the BGF MDI 320/14.4/9.6 micrograms twice daily or the GFF MDI 14.4/9.6 micrograms twice daily. The treatments are inhaled using metered dose inhalers. The study compares these two therapies over time to see how they affect the time until the first severe heart or lung event occurs. The study design ensures that neither participants nor researchers know which treatment is given to reduce bias. During the study, participants will have regular visits to the study site or virtual visits to complete assessments. Researchers will monitor lung function, symptoms, and blood tests, including blood eosinophil counts and COPD assessment test scores. The main outcome measured is the time to the first severe cardiac or COPD event, with follow-up lasting up to three years. Safety and adherence to treatment will also be closely observed throughout the study period.

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a single dose of IPN10200 compared to a placebo in adults with moderate to severe glabellar lines, which are wrinkle-like lines that appear between the eyebrows and may affect appearance and confidence. The study includes a double-blind phase to assess initial treatment effects and an open-label phase to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of repeat doses over time. This Phase III study focuses on adult participants aged 18 to 80 years with moderate to severe lines who are dissatisfied with their appearance. Participants will receive injections of either IPN10200 or placebo during the first treatment cycle in the double-blind phase. In the open-label phase, new participants and those rolling over from the double-blind phase will receive IPN10200, with some eligible for up to four treatment cycles. Each treatment involves local injections of a lyophilised powder solution into several sites across the glabellar region. The study consists of three periods: a screening period of up to 20 days, a treatment period with multiple visits especially in the first month followed by monthly visits, and a 24-week follow-up after the last injection. Throughout the study, participants will have health evaluations including blood tests, physical exams, clinical assessments, and electrocardiograms. They will complete questionnaires and keep diaries to monitor their condition and response to treatment. The main outcome measured is the percentage of participants showing improvement in glabellar lines by week 4. Safety and long-term effects will be monitored for up to 107 weeks, with participants free to withdraw consent at any time.

Researchers are evaluating the efficacy and safety of verekitug (UPB-101) in adults with moderate-to-severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), a long-term inflammatory lung condition. This global, multicenter Phase 2b study aims to understand how well verekitug works compared to a placebo, alongside participants' usual COPD medications. Participants must have a confirmed COPD diagnosis and meet specific lung function and symptom criteria to join the study. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of two doses of verekitug or a matching placebo, in addition to their regular COPD background treatments. The study includes a screening period of about 4 weeks, followed by treatment lasting between 60 and 108 weeks. After treatment, there is a 16-week follow-up period to monitor participants after their last dose. Throughout the study, participants will undergo various assessments including lung function tests and symptom evaluations. Researchers will track the annual rate of moderate or severe COPD flare-ups from the start of treatment through week 108. Researchers are evaluating the safety and effectiveness of astegolimab compared to a placebo in adults aged 40 to 80 years who have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The study focuses on participants who are former or current smokers with a history of frequent COPD flare-ups. This phase III trial aims to determine how well astegolimab reduces moderate and severe COPD exacerbations over one year. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either subcutaneous astegolimab every two or four weeks or a placebo every two weeks. All participants will continue their optimized COPD maintenance treatments, which may include combinations of inhaled corticosteroids, long-acting beta-agonists, and long-acting muscarinic antagonists. Study treatments will be administered over a 52-week period. Throughout the study, researchers will monitor the annual rate of moderate and severe COPD exacerbations. Researchers are studying AZD0292, a bispecific antibody, to see if it can prevent flare-ups in people aged 12 and older who have bronchiectasis with chronic colonization by Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PsA). This Phase IIb trial compares two different doses of AZD0292 given through intravenous infusion against a placebo. The study mainly focuses on non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis patients with frequent PsA-related lung exacerbations, which can worsen lung function, quality of life, and survival. Cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis patients colonized with PsA are also included as an exploratory group. Participants will receive either a high or low dose of AZD0292 or a placebo starting on Day 1 by IV infusion, with additional doses given according to the study schedule. The trial is randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, and parallel in design. Treatment effects, safety, and how the body processes the drug will be studied over the course of dosing. During the study, participants will be monitored for lung exacerbations over a follow-up period ranging from 28 to 52 weeks. Researchers will assess lung function, collect airway samples to confirm PsA colonization, and track any side effects or adverse events. The main measure of success is the annualized rate of exacerbations. The study focuses on participants aged 40 to 90 years and is a Phase III open-label extension trial designed to continue monitoring patients after their initial treatment period. Participants will receive astegolimab as a subcutaneous injection every two weeks during this extension study. This treatment continues from the prior placebo-controlled phase, allowing researchers to observe any ongoing effects and safety concerns over a longer period. The study does not include a placebo group during this extension phase, and all participants receive the active treatment. Throughout the study, researchers will closely monitor participants for any adverse events up to 12 weeks after the last dose of astegolimab. Researchers are evaluating barzolvolimab in a Phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study for adults with cold induced urticaria or symptomatic dermographism who continue to have symptoms despite using H1-antihistamines. The study aims to assess the safety and activity of barzolvolimab compared to a placebo in these participants. Participants must have a diagnosis of these conditions for at least 3 months and meet specific diagnostic criteria related to provocation testing and symptom severity. The study includes a screening period of up to 4 weeks, followed by a 24-week treatment period where participants receive either barzolvolimab or placebo by subcutaneous injection. Those on barzolvolimab receive a 450mg dose at the start and then 150mg every 4 weeks. After this, there is a 28-week treatment phase where all participants receive 300mg barzolvolimab every 8 weeks.
